If you plan on using BookSmart to create books or have already started a book in BookSmart, we highly recommend that you do not upgrade to MacOS 10.13 High Sierra at this time. We are currently investigating potential fixes, but we do not have a timeline to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, BookSmart will not run on that MacOS version.

On September 25th, 2017, MacOS 10.13 High Sierra was released. The latest version of the macOS, MacOS 10.13 High Sierra, is apparently causing some Blurb customers problems and so the company sent out a warning last night to users not to upgrade.

iOS 11, in particular, has been a buggy mess for me. I constantly lose my internet connect on my iMac these days, and Bluetooth performance on my iPhone is often a nightmare.

It has been one of the advantages of being an Apple customer that their devices can be upgraded as soon as Apple releases a new version if macOS or iOS, while many Android device owners do not know when or if the manufacturer of their device will make the upgrade available. The urge to instantly upgrade one’s Mac or iOS device runs pretty deep with Apple customers. The book solutions company said that BookSmart, its older book publishing tool, is not working with the latest version of the macOS, recommends not upgrading their Mac until they have finished their project
